Aeja Peterson
Aeja Peterson received her BM in Viola Performance at Boise State University, and went on to receive a MM in both Viola Performance and Musicology at the prestigious Peabody Institute of Music. She has always loved sharing the gift of music with children, and has been teaching private violin and viola lessons since 1997. However it was 4 years ago when she was introduced to Music Together, and she became a registered teacher in Fall 2005. Aeja was so impressed with Music Together’s philosophy of musical modeling and non-performance-oriented play, and has seen its positive effects in her teaching, in her own performance, and even in her day-to-day parenting! She and her husband have a daughter, Elinore Grace, who is a huge Music Together fan and has loved singing the songs since the tender age of 9 months.
